"First we eat, then we do everything else." - M.F.K. Fisher In 1991, the doors opened to the current Café 1505 space and has been a part of the Mequon community ever since. In 2007, the café was sold to then manager Bill Ledger, and the reigns of the heart of the house were handed over to long-time chef, Ken Kohls. Together they have worked to create an experience with creative, local food served by a warm and friendly staff. Chef Kohls is committed to utilizing many local and seasonal ingredients and focuses strongly on a 100-mile philosophy, sourcing from as close to the café as possible. Café 1505 features an expansive deli with a variety of gourmet take-out options and a full-service bar - the perfect spot for a weekend Bloody Mary or mimosa! Café 1505 is committed to the community and to elevating the experience of high quality, scratch-made, locally-sourced food with warm and genuine service. Thank you for your support!
